DETROIT, Mich. (WXYZ) - The second public forum for citizen input on the "Detroit Works Project" went smoother than the first.

The city learned a few lessons after Tuesday's chaotic town hall meeting and made some format changes.  So this time around there was less shouting and more listening.

The "Detroit Works Project" sessions are to gather input and ideas for the future of Detroit, but the Bing administration says change is necessary for Detroit to move forward.

  • Saturday, September 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Whittier Manor
  • Tuesday, September 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m at El Kiosko Banquet Hall on Dix
