DETROIT (WXYZ) - Police are investigating an overnight shooting on Detroit's west side involving an off-duty officer.
It happene don St. Mary's street near Keeler.
Sources say an off-duty officer was approached by three men at gunpoint. Gunfire was exchanged as the three men attempted to rob the off-duty officer.
One of the suspects was hit. Shell casings were found up and down the street.
The officer was unharmed. There is no word on the condition of the suspect.
