(WXYZ) - It's the two words kids love to hear in the winter - Snow day! Even better when that snow day falls on a Friday, giving kids a long weekend to enjoy.
7 Action News caught up with kids at Bicycle Hill in Royal Oak who said they didn't miss their teachers and don't mind hanging out in the cold.
But with all the extra time on their hands and a driveway full of snow, 13-year-old Gabe Jones of Berkley and his brother Ross, 12, knew what many Metro-Detroit parents had in mind for their kids today. Shoveling.
