SOUTHFIELD, Mich (WXYZ) - Several Detroit City Council members are pushing Mayor Dave Bing to implement a plan for Belle Isle, that was laid out back in 2005.

They want to see the city charge for each vehicle that enters Belle Isle.

The cost would be $3 per visit, or $20 for the year.

The suggestion comes on the heels of the proposed lease deal with the state, that failed.

Council members are expected to discuss the idea next week.
