(WXYZ) - Sources tell 7 Action News that Gary Brown will become deputy emergency financial manager of Detroit.
We're told that the Detroit city council president pro tem is expected to resign from his current position on Monday.
Brown was elected to city council in 2009. He made it clear last month that he would not seek reelection for a second term.
