GRAND BLANC, Mich. (AP) - Officials say two Flint-area elementary schools are closed after more than 80 children were sickened in a suspected norovirus outbreak.

Grand Blanc Community Schools says McGrath and Anderson elementary schools are closed Friday because of what's described as the stomach flu.

WJRT-TV reports (http://bit.ly/QuESze ) a cleaning crew will sanitize the schools.

Norovirus is part of a family of viruses that are spread person-to-person and cause flu-like symptoms including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and stomach cramping.
