LANSING, Mich. (AP) - A late winter's stroll by a pot-bellied pig has slowed traffic on a Lansing roadway.
A video posted by the Lansing State Journal shows the wandering omnivore that drew attention about 9 a.m. Monday along Mount Hope Avenue.
Police summoned Janine Stephenson to see if it was her critter, but Stephenson's pet was safe and sound elsewhere.
She still was asked to help catch Monday's pig, which eventually was returned safely to its owner.
It's the second time in recent months an animal has diverted the attention of motorists along Mount Hope. Back in early December, a turkey promenaded along the roadway.
