(WXYZ) - The Redford Township Police Department says they have located the suspect who approached a 6-year-old girl  in a red Ford Fusion on Wednesday.

The girl’s mother tells police the 6-year-old was walking on the sidewalk near Poinciana and Seven Mile when the man pulled up and asked her if she wanted some candy. The girl ran away and the mother called police.

Police described the man as white, middle-aged with short black hair and glasses.
