(WXYZ) - It's the latest survey putting dads up against moms.

When it comes down to it, fathers of America are no match for their household counterparts.

Insure.com 's new Father's Day Index shows that dad's contributions to the household don't add up to mom's.

In fact, they don't even come close.

This year's survey found that dad's household contributions are worth $20,248.

A typical mother's household work adds up to $60,182 -- nearly three times greater.

The survey attempts to calculate the value, in terms of a wage, of the work moms and dads typically do around the house.
