(WXYZ) - Surprise guests will gather tonight at Broadcast House to celebrate Diana Lewis' 44 years in the business.

We'd love to disclose more but we don't want to spoil the secret!

Yesterday there wasn't a dry eye in the house as Diana said goodbye to metro Detroit during her final broadcasts at 5 and 6 p.m. She was accompanied at the anchor desk by daughter Glenda for the 5 to 5:30 p.m. half hour.

Tonight the celebration continues as the Broadcast House team honors Diana with a retirement party. Stay tuned for pictures from the event.
