DETROIT(WXYZ) -
The Susan G. Komen "3-Day for the Cure" will wrap up today with a closing ceremony.
Survivors, family, friends and supporters will complete the 60-mile journey which is organized to raise money for breast cancer research.
Each participant was required to raise at lease $2,300 dollars for the cause.
The sea of pink took off from Troy on Friday after an emotional and motivating opening ceremony.
Participants passed through cheering stations in Farmington, Northville and Plymouth and will complete the route in Dearborn this afternoon.
