(WXYZ) - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has linked Taco Bell to a salmonella outbreak that sickened dozens of people in October and November last year.
The agency said the outbreak appears to be over.
The CDC said 68 people in 10 states were sickened. One case was reported in Michigan. No deaths were reported.
The CDC couldn't find a link between the outbreak and a specific ingredient, but said ground beef was an unlikely source.
The agency determined the contamination likely occurred at the supplier level before the food was delivered to any restaurant or food outlet.
