(WXYZ) - Target is recalling white, 2-bulb Threshold floor lamps because they could pose a fire hazard.
The lamps had reports of short circuiting when a standard one-way bulb is fully tightened in the lamp's three-way socket.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that about 25,000 of the lamps were sold in the United States from September 2012 through May 2013 for about $70.
The model number of the recalled lamps is PL1071 which can be found on a sticker on the bottom of the lamp.
Target has received six reports of short-circuiting causing fires and minor property damage. Two consumers even reported being shocked.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the product and return it to a Target store for a full refund.
