DETROIT (WXYZ) - Imagine spending big bucks for  Game 4 tickets, only to find out they were stolen. Would you give them back to the owner?

That is exactly what one man did after they fell out of Wally Sworst's pocket. The man overheard Wally saying he lost the tickets.  The man happened to be near the gate where Wally and his wife Holly tried to get will call to cancel the tickets or reprint new ones.  He overheard the couple talking about what section and seats they were in and realized he might have their tickets.

The good Samaritan had bought the tickets for $400 off another man. He then gave them back to Wally and his wife after he realized he had purchased their tickets.  The good Samaritan told them he bought the tickets off a man who had three kids with him.

Wally is not sure if the tickets fell out of his back pocket or someone swiped them.  The couple could not believe they got their tickets back.

"Oh, he's great, he didn't have to do it,” says Sworst. I mean, he came back and he's out $400 himself.”

Police were notified about the incident. Unfortunately, with Wednesday’s rain delay, Wally and Holly won't be able to make it to Thursday’s game.
