(WXYZ) - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a good time to take charge of your health.
Many of us have a family member, friend or co-worker who had or has breast cancer. It may even be you. After non-melanoma skin cancer, breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer in American women. The National Cancer Institute estimates more than 200,000 women in the United States will develop breast cancer this year alone.
