DETROIT (WXYZ) - Two young women and a man were found shot to death in a home on Coyle Street on Detroit's west side.

Neighbors said they heard gunshots last night and called police, but say they didn't show up until this morning when a friend stopped by the house and discovered the three bodies.

The house was supposed to be empty, according to neighbors who tell 7 Action News that a woman and child were squatters in the home.

Zalika Murray says she was in the house yesterday smoking weed and watching videos with her friends but says she left around 8:00 p.m.

Two young girls, a one-year-old and a five-year-old, were inside the home at the time of the triple homicide, but they were not hurt. Zalika says the mothers of both girls are the two women found shot to death.

A source says it appears the killer used a shotgun.

Relatives of the male victim came to the scene and say there was some sort of altercation with one of the women. They say a man who was at the home threatened to come back and kill them.
