NEW YORK - Billionaire entrepreneur and reality TV star Donald Trump is offering to make a $5 million donation to charity if President Obama releases certain personal records.

Trump announced the challenge on the Internet at noon Wednesday.

He said he would donate $5 million to a charity or charities of Obama's choosing if the president releases his college application, college records and his passport application.

In the past Trump has said he agrees with some conservatives who question whether Obama was born in the United States.

Obama has released his long form birth certificate to dispel those rumors, but they continue to circulate despite the disclosure.
