DETROIT (WXYZ) - Police say two men were shot and killed while sitting in their car in Detroit.
The incident happened around 2:40 p.m. at Schaefer and Puritan when the two men were sitting at a light inside a grey Dodge Charger. An SUV pulled up to the passenger side and fired multiple shots into the vehicle, according to police.
Police say the victims were in their 20s.
Neighbors say other people could have been hurt since it happened around the time that school let out for the day. They are fed up with the violence.
"People just don't care about one another no more...no more love," said a concerned resident.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Detroit Police at 313-596-2260 or CRIME STOPPERS AT 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
