The University of Michigan has issued a crime alert after a female student reported being sexually assaulted by a taxi cab driver.
According to the school, the assault happened early Sunday, around 2 a.m., on the 300 block of East Madison.
Police say the student was taking a cab back to her off-campus apartment when the taxi driver allegedly drove into a parking lot and sexually assaulted her.
We're told the suspect is a white male with brown hair.
