(WXYZ) - Prayers continue for a little boy who was severely beaten. Damian Sutton, 2, remains in critical condition.
The man accused of causing the injuries is being held at the Macomb County jail. A judge set bond for 26-year-old Ronald Anthony Dimambro at $500,000. He is charged with first-degree child abuse. State records show Dimambro is currently on probation for identity theft.
Friday night, family members and friends held a prayer vigil for the child at at New Haven Community park.
A fundraiser is also planned for August 27th from 4-9 p.m. It will be held at Younger's Irish Tavern in Romeo.
Proceeds will go towards helping with Damian's medical bills.
