HOLIDAY CITY, Ohio (WXYZ) - Braving bad weather and fatigue, volunteers from Morenci and beyond continued their search for three young boys missing since last Thursday.
Hundreds of folks trudged though wooded areas and looked in rivers hoping to find anything that would lead them to Tanner, Alex and Andrew.
One volunteer tells Action News she and her group went dumpster diving in Holiday City, Ohio, which is located near the Ohio turnpike, southwest of Morenci.
"We just keep going. Giving up is not an option, but it's so scary to think about what happened to those little boys," said Linda Gray, a volunteer who spent the day searching for the brothers.
Search crews were visible up and down roads coming in and out of Morenci all throughout the day. Buses carried them to remote areas where authorities believed the boys might be hidden.
Once again the searches came up empty.
"I can't stop thinking about how hard this is for the family," said Gray. "we're just going to keep praying for them."
