(WXYZ) - Because of the excessive heat and dry conditions, the city of Walled Lake is putting watering restrictions into place.
The city is asking residents to observe an Odd/Even watering schedule into place with odd numbered addresses watering Tuesday. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and even numbered addresses watering Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Residents are also asked to water only between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
At this point now other municipalities have announced special watering restrictions. Some communities have normal odd/even watering restriction that are put into place every summer and those are still in force.
