SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) - A woman who bought a cell phone for her grandson was shocked to find it pre-loaded with pornographic pictures when she turned it on.
Dorothy Elam says she purchased the Samsung Smartphone from T-Mobile as part of a buy one get one free deal for her 15-year-old grandson for his birthday. She says she thought the phone was brand new but when she opened it, she found it loaded with porn.
Dorothy says the phone arrived in all new packaging from T-Mobile.com, and she says she hasn't received any feedback from the store.
The long-time T-Mobile customers say it just goes to show that the cell phone company is not selling everything as new, and some are probably refurbished. The family says the company needs to be more careful of the phones they send back out.
