NOVI, Mich. (WXYZ) - A daughter's belief in the goodness of people proves true.
Jiangping Wang and her 12-year-old daughter had been shopping at the Wal-Mart in Novi Thursday.
After leaving, the mother discovered she'd left her purse behind in the shopping cart and when they went back, it was gone.
No one had turned it in. Jiangping thought she'd never see it again, but her daughter told her not to worry.
She went home and started cancelling her credit cards. Then, there was a knock on the door and a man was standing there with her purse and everything in it, proving her daughter right.
Mother and daughter want that man to know how thankful they are to have the purse back along with their faith in people.
