SANDUSKY, Ohio - Cedar Point says it plans to spend about $60 million over the next three years to spruce up its hotels at the Lake Erie amusement park.
The park hopes the improvements will pay off with longer visits.
Cedar Fair Entertainment Co. operates four hotels in Sandusky near the park.
Plans for the improvements are still being worked out, but the company plans to ask its guests for suggestions.
Cedar Fair's president tells The Blade newspaper in Toledo that he wants hotels that fit every visitor's budget.
He says he wants hotels where families can relax, play and take a break from the thrills at the amusement park.
