Belle Isle race track repair on pace

(WXYZ) - There's good news from Belle Isle about the race track surface.
Officials say the track in on pace to be resurfaced before winter hits.
Two races are scheduled to be run on the track in June.
Questions about the surface were raised during last year's Grand Prix when sections of pavement came up during the race.
That forced officials to shorten the race and led towards the efforts to repair the surface before next year's races.
