DETROIT - The Tigers need just one win to sweep the Yankees in the American League Championship Series. Max Scherzer and CC Sabathia are battling on the mound.

Game 4 for the Tigers and Yankees has been postponed until Thursday at 4:07 p.m. due to the threat of rain.

9:20 p.m. Game 4 of ALCS postponed until Thursday at 4:07 p.m.

9:00 p.m. Comerica Park flashed the radar on the jumbotron. First sign of life from the crowd. Boo City. And now the tarp is being rolled onto the field.

8:05 p.m. No rain here (yet), but both dugouts are empty and there is no one warming up in either bullpen.

7:52 p.m. Weather has officially delayed the start of Game Four. 7 Action News First Alert chief meteorologist Dave Rexroth says a system is moving in over Comerica Park around 9 p.m.

7:33 p.m. Yankees manager Joe Girardi is sticking to his guns. Alex Rodriguez is again out of New York's starting lineup. The third baseman found himself surrounded by a group of dozens media members before batting practice. Nick Swisher returns to the Yankees starting lineup, but Curtis Granderson is on Girardi's bench.
