(WXYZ) - The World Series has shifted to Comerica Park for Game 3 between the Giants and Tigers. After losing the first two games at AT&T Park, the Tigers are looking to get back in the series.

The Tigers are looking to Anibal Sanchez to give them a boost. Sanchez was stellar in his last outing, posting seven strikeouts in seven innings against the Yankees.

Brad Galli is providing updates from Comerica Park on Twitter @BradGalli .

11:33 p.m. And that's it from Comerica. They go down swinging 1-2-3. The Tigers are now in a deep 3-0 hole in the World Series, looking at a possible sweep by the Giants tomorrow. Final score 2-0.

11:18 p.m. Phil Coke strikes out the side, sending us to the bottom of the 9th. It's now or never for the Tigers hitters. Peralta, Avilia and Infante are due up.

11:10 p.m. It's time for the 9th inning. The story of the night has been stranded Tigers base runners. There have been 10 tonight.

11:07 p.m. . I'm heading to the clubhouse to prepare for postgame interviews. Our web team takes over from here.

10:48 p.m. Another inning, another frame with a goose egg in the Tigers column. Heading into the eighth inning with the Giants still leading 2-0.

10:18 p.m. Anyone else hear this story before? The Tigers pitching is superb while the hits aren't coming. Sanchez has seven strikeouts in six innings. The Tigers have five hits.

10:03 p.m. Everyone has been waiting for the Tigers to have that World Series "signature moment." Bases loaded with one out. It had the makings of everything we've been expecting. Berry strikes out. Cabrera flies out. Still 2-0. Still no moment.

9:47 p.m. Since allowing two runs in the second inning, Anibal Sanchez has let just one hitter reach base safely.

9:43 p.m. Just talked with the Dippin' Dots vendor. She has sold 19 ice cream cups tonight. Usual number by this time? 150.

9:16 p.m. Quintin Berry is the fastest player on the team, but even he couldn't break up (another) inning-ending double play. Detroit has hit into 11 this postseason, the most of any team.

8:56 p.m. 47 pitches for Anibal Sanchez through two innings. Rick Porcello working in Detroit's bullpen.

8:45 p.m. Austin Jackson doesn't dive very often. It hurts a little bit more on this stage. 2-0 Giants on a shallow hit ball to centerfield by Crawford.

8:42 p.m. The Tigers will have to come back if they want to win this one. Hunter Pence, the engine that sparked the Giants late-season success, walked for the first time in 55 postseason at-bats, stole second, and advanced to third on a Anibal Sanchez pitch that hit the backstop. Gregor Blanco triples Pence home. Giants lead 1-0.

8:36 p.m. There is music playing loudly outside Comerica Park. It can be heard from our seats in left field. It feels like an NBA game with the point guard bringing the ball up and a recycled beat from a pop song blaring overhead.

8:29 p.m. The Tigers did what they couldn't in Game 2: gathered back-to-back base runners. But Prince Fielder couldn't add to the offense, grounding out to end the first inning.

8:15 p.m. Finally got to my seat after reporting live on Action News at 7. This place is ALIVE.
