LAKELAND, Fla. - Rain and baseball aren't a good mix. Thursday, as the Tigers trotted out onto the field, Mother Nature forced the team's pitchers and catchers back inside before they could even start stretching.

That didn't keep Torii Hunter away. The newly acquired outfielder arrived to a crowded media gathering, explaining his immediate love for the Tigers.
