Tigers outfielder Torii Hunter was pulled from today's game against the White Sox in the eighth inning after complaining about a sore achilles tendon.
Hunter has been listed as day-to-day by the team.
In 92 games this year, Hunter has batted .308, scored 60 runs and knocked in 47. He was named to the American League All-Star team.
