Jose Calderon has been cleared to make his debut with the Detroit Pistons tonight.
The point guard had issues with his visa that kept him out of the lineup since being acquired in a three-team trade last week.
The Pistons announced he will be in uniform, and his visa to work in the United States has been approved.
Head coach Lawrence Frank said last week he plans to start Calderon immediately, and will likely work in a backcourt with Brandon Knight.
The Pistons play in New York against the Knicks tonight at 7:30 p.m.
