RICHMOND, Va. (WXYZ) - Derrick Green, the nation's No. 1 running back out of Hermitage High School in Richmond, Va., committed to Michigan over Tennessee and Auburn on Saturday during a press conference.
Brady Hoke and the Michigan Wolverines are getting a 6-foot, 220 pound running back, who clocked a 4.31 in the 40-yard dash.
According to reports, Green was intrigued by the fact that the Wolverines have not had a recent coaching change as Tennessee and Auburn hired new coaches to lead their programs.
Green highlights University of Michigan's recruiting class that features 16 four-star athletes.
