Detroit beats Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--  Ray McCallum led all scorers with 20 as visiting Detroit scrapped its way to a 65-61 win over Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse in front of a sellout crowd of 10,000 Saturday afternoon in Horizon League play.

With the win, Detroit (13-12, 7-6 HL) swept the season series against BU (13-12, 7-6) for the first time since the 1997-98 season.

Eli Holman added 13 points, seven rebounds and a key blocked shot in the closing seconds for the Titans.
