EA Sports unveils Calvin Johnson's Madden cover

(WXYZ) - EA Sports has unveiled the official cover for Madden 2013, and Calvin Johnson isn't the only Detroiter being highlighted.
The cover, which was unveiled on the official Facebook page for EA Sports Madden NFL , also features the Renaissance Center and Ford Field.
It also shows a football field that looks suspiciously like a blacktop road, perhaps a nod to Detroit's automotive roots and Motor City nickname.
Johnson won the honor of appearing on the Madden 2013 cover last month when he beat out Cam Newton in the final round of an online fan voting tournament. At the ceremony unveiling the winner in New York's Times Square a mock cover was used.
Madden 2013 goes on sale in August. It is available for pre-order online now.
