(WXYZ) - The Pro Bowl rosters are out, and Calvin Johnson is the only Detroit Lion to make the NFC squad.
He's joined by fellow wide receivers Larry Fitzgerald from the Arizona Cardinals, Steve Smith from the Carolina Packers and Greg Jennings from the Green Bay Packers.
Johnson is one of the two leading receivers with 15 touchdown receptions.
The selections leave out both Quarterback Matthew Stafford and Defensive End Cliff Avril. Stafford was viewed by many as an outside contender for the Pro Bowl, while many observers had Avril as a lock for the team.
Stafford was beat out by Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers, New Orleans' Drew Brees and the New York Giants' Eli Manning. Avril was beat out by Minnesota's Jared Allen, Philadelphia's Jason Babin and the Giants' Jason Pierre-Paul.
The Pro Bowl takes place Sunday, January 29, 2012 in Hawaii.
