ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Chad Johnson, formerly known as 'Ochocinco', attended the Lions' training camp on Friday. The free agent wide receiver is still looking for a team to play for, but was in Allen Park for different reasons.
Johnson was in the neighborhood to watch his 8-year-old daughter run in AAU Junior Olympics at Eastern Michigan University.
The 35-year-old Johnson was once one of the most dominant receivers in the NFL, but has not played a regular season game since 2011, when he had just 15 catches in 15 games for the New England Patriots.
Last season Johnson was released early in the preseason by the Miami Dolphins after being arrested on domestic violence charges.
Johnson took the time to talk to some Lions' players including Ndamukong Suh, Nick Fairley, and Calvin Johnson.
