Mikel Leshoure scored three times and led the Lions to their first winning streak of the season. We live-blogged the game.
3:50 pm Detroit beats Jacksonville 31-14. The Lions improve to 4-4 on the season and the Jaguars fall to 1-7. Detroit will travel to Minnesota to battle with the Vikings next Sunday.
3:45 pm Justin Blackmon caught a Blaine Gabbert touchdown pass to make the score 31-14. Jacksonville went for the two point conversion but failed. There is 50 seconds remaining in the game.
3:39 pm At the two minute warning Detroit continues to lead Jacksonville 31-8. With the win Detroit will improve to 4-4 on the season.
3:31 pm Joique Bell ran the ball in from 10-yards out to put Detroit up 31-8. There is 2:48 left in the game. This was Detroit's fourth rushing touchdown in the game.
3:20 pm Michael Spurlock caught a 5 yard touchdown pass from Blaine Gabbert and Jacksonville added the two-point conversion to close the Detroit gap to 24-8.
3:08 pm Jason Hanson hit a 42 yard field goal to extend Detroit's lead to 24-0. There is 13:56 remaining in the game.
3:04 pm At the end of the third quarter Detroit leads 21-0.
3:00 pm Jacksonville had put together their best drive of the game but Jonte Green picked off a Blaine Gabbert pass attempt. Detroit takes over possession at their own 36. There is 1:48 remaining in the third quarter.
2:43 pm Erik Coleman intercepted a Blaine Gabbert pass to steal possession back for the Lions. Jacksonville had started to get some offensive momentum going prior to the interception. Detroit takes over at the Jacksonville 16.
2:38 pm The Jaguars will receive the ball to start the second half.
2:26 pm The Lions lead the Jaguars 21-0 at the half. Detroit has dominated this game from the beginning. Detroit has 285 yards of offense in the first half, including 111 yards receiving from Calvin Johnson. Detroit's defense has held Jacksonville to only 57 yards offensively.
2:18 pm Mikel Leshoure danced his way into the endzone from 8 yards out for his third touchdown of the game. Detroit leads Jacksonville 21-0 with 29 seconds remaining in the first half.
2:12 pm The Detroit Lions lead the Jacksonville Jaguars 14-0 at the two-minute warning. Detroit is driving the ball and is at the Jacksonville 41-yard line.
1:59 pm Mikel Leshoure punched the ball in for a second touchdown. This rush was from 1 yard out. Detroit now leads Jacksonville 14-0 with 7:58 remaining in the half.
1:42 pm Mikel Leshoure rushed the ball for a 7 yard touchdown. Detroit's drive was 91 yards long. Detroit leads Jacksonville 7-0 with 12:16 remaining in the first half.

1:25 pm Detroit drove down the field but Jason Hanson hit the right upright on a 47-yard field goal try. The Lions were helped out on the drive by a great catch from Tony Scheffler. The game is still scoreless with 4:53 remaining in the first quarter.
1:09 pm After getting a first down, the Lions drive stalled and they were forced to punt. Ryan Broyles had 2 catches for 21 yards on the drive. Jacksonville will have the ball at its' own 13 yard line. There is no score.
1:04 pm The Lions will get the ball first after winning the coin-toss.
The Lions look to get back to a .500 record after defeating the Seahawks last Sunday.
