Lions announce date and time for Oakland preseason game

The Lions announced they will play the Oakland Raiders at 7pm EST on Saturday, August 25 in the third preseason game of the 2012 season.  The game will air on WXYZ.

Previously, the Lions announced they will play the Baltimore Ravens on Friday, August 17 in a game that will be aired nationally on FOX. 

The start times for the other two preseason games have not been formally announced by the team.  The Lions will host the Cleveland Browns in the preseason's first week and the Buffalo Bills in the final preseason game.  

Both of those games will also air on WXYZ.
