Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson will grace the cover of ESPN The Magazine's NFL preview, set to hit the stands August 22.
Johnson has been popular this offseason. He is featured on the cover of EA Sports Madden NFL 13 and has made the media rounds promoting the game.
He met John Madden for the first time during Lions Training Camp three weeks ago.
Johnson is the first Lions player to be featured on the cover of ESPN The Magazine's NFL Preview issue.
