The Lions have agreed to a deal with defensive tackle Justin Bannan, according to reports.
Bannan had 42 tackles in 16 games (15 starts) last season with the Denver Broncos. He has missed only two games in the past six seasons.
Considered one of the most talented tackles in free agency this offseason, Bannan visited the Lions before training camp, the Free Press' Dave Birkett reports.
The 34-year old will weave into the Lions defensive lineman rotation, behind Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley. Longtime Bears defensive tackle Israel Idonije was also signed this offseason to add depth behind the two young starters.
The 11-year veteran has spent time with the Broncos, Rams, Ravens, and Bills.
