(WXYZ) - There's no doubt about it. Ndamukong Suh is a talented, driven football player.

What came into question throughtout the 2011 season was his intent on a handful of plays, leading some to call the Lions defensive tackle "dirty."

After a while, the word became intertwined with any Suh story.

Since the Lions season ended with a 45-28 loss to New Orleans in the Wild Card Round of the NFC Playoffs, the second year player has appeared on national television for analyst segments, sponsorship duties to Subway, and interviews.

Now, he's sitting down with ESPN's Hannah Storm to answer questions about the player he has become in his two seasons.

Suh taped an interview with Storm for a SportsCenter special set to air Tuesday at 9pm ET on ESPN2.

The ESPN anchor asked Suh about the notion thrown around by many that he might need anger management.

"Like I've said, I don't have issues of beating up people in bars. I know it's not right," Suh responded.

"That just doesn't make sense to me. I think people try to make their own opinion and I think it's a storyline. It's a great storyline. It's kind of comical to me to keep saying something and really don't have any substance behind it."

The former first-round draft pick also addressed the claims from his former Nebraska teammate, and current New York Jets guard Matt Slauson, that Suh tried to injure college teammates during practice.

"I don't know why," Suh said of the reasons behind Slauson's comments.

"I would never hurt somebody because why would I want somebody to hurt me? You're taking somebody's livelihood away, their opportunity to fend for their family, and grow. For somebody to say that, it's kinda outrageous."

The full interview will be a part of an ESPN special featuring some of the NFL's biggest stars.
