EAST LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) - Tom Izzo and his Michigan State Spartans will be without one of their premiere players for the next 2-3 weeks.
According to the MSU athletic department, Gary Harris sustained a sprained left shoulder in the first half against Boise State at the Breslin Center on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
"We need to get him back as soon as his injury allows, but he is one of our toughest players. I know he'll work as hard as he can on the rehab, so that he can get back on the court," said Izzo.
Prior to the injury Harris was averaging 16 points per game and had helped lead Michigan State to a 3-1 record on the season, including a win over 7th ranked Kansas, earlier this year.
