AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) -

The Pistons announced that Greg Monroe and Charlie Villanueva may not play against the New York Knicks at 7:30 p.m.

According to the Pistons, Monroe tweaked his ankle during practice on Tuesday and will be a game-time decision. Villanueva on the other hand is dealing with a tight hamstring, the team announced.

Lawrence Frank, who is dealing with personal matters, will not coach the Pistons tonight.

Brian Hill, a Pistons assistant coach, will take over Frank's duties against a Knicks team that will not have Carmelo Anthony on its side.

Anthony, the NBA's second-leading scorer at 28.2 points per game, has been diagnosed with a sore right knee and ESPN reports that he will not play against the Pistons tonight.
