AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - After the Pistons acquired Brandon Jennings in a sign-and-trade deal that sent Brandon Knight and two other players to Milwaukee, Jennings was officially introduced in Auburn Hills on Tuesday.
Jennings talked about how loaded the Pistons are in the front court with Andre Drummond, Greg Monroe and Josh Smith, and made sure to send this message to the crowd:
"I guess you could say we could bring Lob City to Detroit this year," said Jennings with a smile.
According to the Associated Press, Jennings and the Pistons agreed to a three-year deal worth $24 million.
"You're going to see a whole different player," said Jennings. "I definitely have to change my game.
"The things that I was doing in Milwaukee, I won't have to do here, take all the bad shots,” Jennings said. "Now, I can just actually be myself and be who I was five years ago when I was in high school, playing AAU basketball."
The 23-year-old Jennings, who is the latest high-profile addition for Detroit, helped the Milwaukee Bucks reach the playoffs twice in the past four years.
