CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WXYZ) - Michigan starting center Jordan Morgan went down early in the first half with a twisted right ankle. Morgan, with help from teammates and trainers, was able to walk off the court and was immediately taken to the locker room.
Morgan has been a key piece to Michigan’s success not only in the boxscore, averaging 6.7 ppg and 5.4 rpg on 63% shooting, but also as a veteran leader for the young Wolverines squad.
Update: There hasn't been any further information on the severity of the injury, but Morgan returned to the bench and was seen joking around with teammates.
