DETROIT (WXYZ) - Justin Verlander is personally inviting you the World Series. Yes, you.
Last year's AL MVP and CY Young winner tweeted Monday, @ JustinVerlander : "Will announce the # WorldSeries ticket contest later in the week...will be giving away my personal tix to all the home game.
Sound too good to be true? It's not. Verlander held similar contests for Games 3 and 4 of the ALCS , sending two of his Twitter followers plus guests to each game.
Verlander's past Twitter contests asked his followers to do everything from show their #DetroitPride to simply retweeting his tweet encouraging fans to watch ALCS Game 4 on TBS.
