Michigan will travel to Duke and North Carolina will play Michigan State in East Lansing in the 2013 edition of the Big Ten/ACC Basketball Challenge.
The Big Ten released the full schedule of games for this season on Wednesday.
Michigan's matchup with Duke will be one of the marquee games on the first night of the schedule, Monday, December 3.
The Wolverines last faced Duke in November of 2011, losing to the Blue Devils 82-75. Prior to that meeting at the Maui Invitational in Hawaii, Michigan lost to Duke in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2011.
On December 4, Michigan State and North Carolina will meet for the third time since their pairing in the 2009 National Championship Game. The Spartans and Tarheels last played in San Diego in the Carrier Classic in November, 2011.
It will be the fifth time MSU and North Carolina have faced each other in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
"We are very excited to be hosting North Carolina in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge," MSU basketball coach Tom Izzo said. "The atmosphere at the Breslin Center was great last year, and I know the fans love to watch the marquee non-conference games at home. To have the opportunity to host a potential Top-10 matchup in December is something special, and we look forward to continuing to bring these top programs into Breslin."
Syracuse, playing in the ACC for the first time in 2013-14, will host Indiana in a rematch of the 1987 National Championship Game.
Notre Dame and Pittsburgh are also new members of the ACC. The Fighting Irish will travel to Iowa and Pittsburgh will host cross-state rival Penn State.
Maryland, due to join the Big Ten in 2014, will continue to represent the ACC in December. The Terrapins will travel to Ohio State.
Three ACC teams - Clemson, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest - will not play in the 2013 event.
