(WXYZ) - The NBA trade deadline is 3:00 p.m. Thursday and we do not expect Joe Dumars to do much, if anything.

The Pistons lost again last night, faltering down the stretch. It would take a miracle for them to make the playoffs.

But I wouldn’t count on that happening, the one guy who is playing well, Tracy McGrady, says the team—mostly because of all the losses—is dysfunctional.

That’s a strong statement but McGrady says, “I’ve seen dysfunctional teams before and this fits right in there with it. There’s not one greater than another, you have this kind of year. When you’re losing it is dysfunctional.”

The Pistons have won 21 games and lost 37 so far this season. Ten teams in the East have better records than they do right now.

It’s not what guys like Ben Wallace, Tayshaun Prince, and Rip Hamilton—who isn’t even playing anymore—are used to. They were important players during all those championship runs.

It has to be brutal for the entire team to experience what’s happening right now. It’s way more drama than any NBA team needs— unless they’re thinking about making a documentary film on this year’s team, which has crossed McGrady’s mind.

“I wish I had a camera on me every day to film it, I really could make a movie.”

Tracy didn’t come up with a title for the movie but you have to figure it might not be appropriate for young kids to see.
