(WXYZ) - Michigan finds itself back in the top 25 of both major college football polls this week after beating Northwestern in overtime Saturday.
The Wolverines (7-3, 5-1 Big Ten) are ranked no. 23 in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls.
Michigan won in comeback fashion Saturday, grabbing a 38-31 win when their chances looked bleak. Devin Gardner found Roy Roundtree down the middle of the field in the waning seconds of regulation before Brendan Gibbons sent the game into overtime.
Gardner scampered in for a rushing touchdown for the winning score in overtime.
Michigan is tied with Nebraska atop the Big Ten Legends division, but the Huskers own the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Previously top-ranked Alabama slid to no. 4 in the polls after losing to Texas A&M Saturday. Oregon took over the top spot.
