ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Michigan is calling for a "Maize Out" for its game against Ohio State Tuesday.
The team will be doing its part, unveiling new, all-maize, "bleed out" Adidas jerseys and sneakers to be worn for the game.
Trey Burke showed off the new shoes at a press conference Monday.
"Yeah, I like them. The guys are excited about them," he said.
The design is familiar to basketball fans. Adidas and the NBA unveiled the single-color jerseys on Christmas, when teams wore them for the premier lineup of games.
They feature one color, with only a faint, secondary color outlining the numbers and player names.
Michigan, ranked third in the new Associated Press Top 25 faces No. 10 Ohio State at home at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
